There are a number of arrangements in place to deal with ice on the estate.
Site staff or contractors spread grit in problem spots during the working day. Priority is given to gritting main entrances to buildings, steps and then major pedestrian pathways. The weather forecast is monitored and when frost or snow is predicted on the day before, staff or contractors will lay down grit as soon as possible.
The estate staff clear as much snow as possible in the worst-affected areas but limited resources do not allow them to provide a general snow-clearing service.
Residents and their visitors must take extra care in icy conditions. The Manor Fields Estate Limited does not accept responsibility for falls or injuries caused by adverse weather.
